Ankit Dahiya is Head of Corporate Strategy at JSW Steel, the flagship business of the diversified US $24 Billion JSW Group with presence in Asia, Africa, Europe and America. He is also a senior member at Mr. Sajjan Jindal’s (Chairman, JSW Group) office and is one of the youngest business leaders in the company. He is the organizational representative of JSW Steel at the World Steel Association, the apex body for Steel globally.
As the Head of Corporate Strategy at JSW Steel, Ankit leads research on new product development & diversification and is at the helm of strategic discussions on business expansion strategy, business collaborations and acquisitions. As an extension of this role, in 2018, Ankit was appointed the project lead on the identification of a new product for the JSW Group - LRPC (Low Relaxation Prestressed Concrete Strands) and tasked with its setup as a subsidiary of JSW Steel Ltd. Today, he is the CEO of the company, with a projected revenue of $150 Million by 2025.
As a senior member of the Chairman’s office, Ankit represents the group with senior Business & Political Leaders and pilots all strategic research for Mr. Jindal’s conversation with Policy makers globally. In this role, he also designed, developed and deployed a COVID Response System to safeguard the 100,000 member workforce across India while ensuring that there were minimal disruptions to plant operations.
Ankit has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mumbai University, India. As a testament to his leadership abilities, Ankit has been twice selected as a Future Fit Leader for leadership training at the renowned Indian School of Business.
